Recent appearance w/host Peter Rubie (guitar) and featuring Ben Rubie on Violin, Shogo Yamagishi on bass at Tartina NYC
WE WON! On August 1st the ensemble called Sonder competed in the Detroit Jazz Festival Collegiate Combo Competition and won! Sonder is Noah Myers (Guitar and ensemble leader), Eric Stern (Piano), Ian Weidmann (Sax), August Bish (Bass) and, of course, me on drums. As part of the prize for winning the competition, Sonder will perform on Labor Day (September 1st) at the Detroit Jazz Festival. Hope to see you there.
